What's New on the 2027 Silverado?
Chevrolet is calling this the most powerful and advanced Silverado it has ever built. The 2027 model gets a full ground-up redesign: a bolder exterior with a stronger grille and new LED lighting, a redesigned interior built around bigger screens, and an updated engine lineup led by two brand-new V8s.
Because this is such a fresh redesign, Chevrolet has not yet released official pricing, horsepower and torque figures, or towing and payload numbers. We'll update this page the moment GM makes that information public. In the meantime, here's what has been confirmed.
A Bolder Stance, Trim by Trim
Every 2027 Silverado gets new LED headlamps and taillamps, a stronger grille, and more pronounced wheel opening moldings for a wider, more planted look. Custom and above add standard dual exhaust.

Four Ways to Power Your Next Silverado
Every engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission, replacing the outgoing model's 8-speed on the base engine. Chevrolet has built V8s since 1955, and the reimagined, American-assembled 5.7L and 6.6L continue that line.
2.7L TurboMax
The carryover turbocharged four-cylinder, enhanced for 2027 and now paired with the new 10-speed automatic.
5.7L V8
An all-new naturally aspirated V8, part of what Chevrolet says will be the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 family in its class.
6.6L V8

A Cockpit Built Around What Truck Owners Actually Use
Every 2027 Silverado trim comes standard with a 16.3-inch center touchscreen and a 12.2-inch digital driver display, both class-leading sizes for the segment.
ZR2 and High Country add a standard 11.5-inch front passenger screen, a first for Chevy trucks. Combined with a head-up display and rear camera mirror, Chevrolet says those two trims offer more than 60 inches of digital display in the cabin.
Super Cruise, GM's hands-free driving system, is available on more of the lineup than ever before. Chevrolet says drivers have logged over a billion hands-free miles on Super Cruise, and it remains the only hands-free trailering technology on the market. Every 2027 Silverado also comes with OnStar Basics standard for 8 years.
A new available Multi-Flex Center Console folds flat into a sturdy work surface, and a panoramic sunroof is standard on High Country and available on ZR2, Trail Boss, and Silverado.
